The Movie Night – Vol. 1: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

Schuman Hall, October 6th, 16:00

The Political Science Club (formerly known as The SPE Nation Club) resumes its series of events that involve movie projections with Frank Capra’s 1939 Oscar-winning classic, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”.

Starring James Stewart and Jean Arthur, this film tells the story of a naive and idealistic man who is appointed to the US Senate and discovers the true nature of politics.

All the English-speaking students of the Faculty of Political Science are invited! The movie is followed by a debate, a trivia quiz, and other surprises.

“The Movie Night” is a project of The Political Science Club, an initiative of the FSPUB students from the English language study programmes.
